It's been a crazy ride, but the prerelease was well worth the effort. We've gotten nothing but good responses so far; a lot of the players at Dragon*Con seemed to genuinely enjoy the game, and even the professional fantasy illustrators in the artist's alley got a kick out of the cards. Now comes the fun part: making our money back so we're not operating in the red.
If anyone's interested in buying cards, we'll have a shop up on our Web site some time this week. They're very affordable; you can buy the whole set for about six bucks, and we're not pulling the common/uncommon/rare crap that other card games do. With the exception of special promos, every card is as common as all the others, making it far easier and more affordable to build your dream deck.
I must admit, when we got the cards back from press, I almost wet myself. Talk about long-abandoned childhood dreams coming true!
